We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, background details you share on a consultation or in coaching, and any documents you upload such as a resume or LinkedIn profile. If you purchase a program, our payment processor collects your payment details on our behalf.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, along with marketing attribution data (for example, which ad or campaign referred you) so we can understand how people find us.

We use your information to:

Provide and improve our coaching and platform services, schedule and conduct consultations, personalize your experience, process payments, send you service updates and relevant communications, and measure the performance of our marketing.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising cookies and pixels that some state laws treat as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, and you can opt out at any time. See Your Privacy Choices.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, such as our hosting and database providers (for example Vercel and Supabase), our payment processor (Stripe), our scheduling tool (Calendly), our email and analytics tools, and an artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic) that we use to help draft summaries and communications. These providers may access your information only to perform work on our behalf and are bound to keep it confidential. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

We advertise on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google. To measure our ads and reach people who may be interested in our coaching, we use their tracking technologies, such as the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Google tags. These tools may set cookies and share limited information with those platforms, such as your device or browser data, pages you viewed, and whether you submitted a form.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define this kind of cross-context advertising as "sharing" or as a "sale." You can opt out of this advertising activity by adjusting your cookie and ad settings on those platforms and in your browser, and by contacting us at contact@firstrole.io.

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your tech career, including by automated means. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, and you can get help by replying HELP. We honor opt-out requests across our channels.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to limit our use of sensitive personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
